Group training classes allow our instructors to teach you how to train your dog!
Our group classes have 4-8 dog handler teams per class. Classes are 1 hour long and are held on set day and time each week for a series of weeks.

If you don’t see a group class that works for you, contact us about private training lessons. Private lessons are customized to fit your schedule!
Please note-If your dog has behavior concerns group classes are not appropriate and private training/behavior counseling is needed. No refunds can be given if dogs must be excused from class for disruptive behavior.
Does Your Dog Need To Learn To Mind His Manners?
Basic Manners
This 6 week class offers basic training for any age dog to help him MIND HIS MANNERS! You and your dog will learn and work on the following essential skills:
- “Sit” and “Down” “Stay”-2 minute duration with mild distraction and 6 feet distance
- A reliable re-call “Come” with distractions and 15 feet distance
- Polite leash walking and beginner “heel” command, use of anti-pull tools
- “Leave it”- helps with food stealing, squirrel chasing and more!
- Impulse control and Structured play: “Wait”, “Take it”, “Drop it”, “Tug”, “Get it”, “Fetch”
- Reliable Polite greetings-Four on the floor “Off” command
Class is 6 weeks and has a maximum of 6 students. For any age dog. Dogs must be ok with unfamiliar dogs and strangers. Not sure if your dog can handle a classroom setting? Private lessons also available!

Advanced Manners
This is a great class for students seeking a fun challenge after basic training. In this 6 week class you and your dog will work on the following:
- Sit stay (1 minute) and down stay (3+minutes) with distance 10+feet /big distractions
- Polite Greetings- pre-Canine Good Citizen
- Walk politely next to your guardian “Heel”
- Training for “Quiet” and reducing excitement behaviors
- Go to your “place”- sending to a bed or mat
- Effective reduction in using treats as rewards while maintaining excellent responses to cues
- Leave it- Improve impulse control with challenges/ high value items
- Polite and calm behavior near other dogs and strangers
- Really reliable “Come” games with distance and distraction and out of sight
- “Touch” hand targeting and games to improve attention, control and focus
This 6 week class is limited to 4-5 students. Best for dogs over 6 months old. Pre-requisite Basic Manners or both K9 Life Skills 1 &2- Dogs must be non reactive and ok with unfamiliar dogs and strangers.
Beyond Manners- Competition Obedience
This is a great class for students seeking a fun challenge after manners training to prepare for competition in Obedience. In this 6 week class you and your dog will work on the following:
- Obedience ring exercises -Sit stay (1 minute) and down stay (1 minute) with other dogs close by
- Sit stay- handler walks around the ring
- Off leash re-calls
- Sit stay for exam/Stand stay for exam
- “Heel”- Figure 8 exercise/Novice Rally signs
- Introduction to off leash heeling- performing heeling patterns for Novice Obedience
- Sit/Wait/Come/Front
- Considerations for starting to compete with your dog
This 6 week class is limited to 4-5 students. Best for dogs over 6 months old, Pre-requisite Advanced Manners and CGC. Dogs MUST be friendly with all people and dogs.

Polite in Public- Outdoors Edition
This 3 week class takes the classroom skills from Advanced Manners on the road. Learn how to improve your dog’s behavior in the real world.
- A more reliable re-call “Come” with distractions and distance
- Polite leash walking “with me” at handlers side and “free sniff” walking (on a long leash)
- “Leave it”- real life practice! Sit and Down “STAY” with real life distractions
- Impulse control while hiking with other dogs (resist the impulse to initiate play or bark)
- Reliable Polite on leash greetings
This 3 week class has a maximum of 6 students. Pre-Requisite is Advanced Manners or equivalent. Dogs must be ok with unfamiliar dogs and strangers.
Polite in Public-Indoors Edition
- Training skills that allow for you to have the confidence to take your dog out and about in dog friendly stores
- Polite leash walking “with me” at handlers’ side in real world settings
- “Leave it”- Disengaging from things in new environments and maintaining impulse control
- Sit and Down “STAY” with common in store distractions
- Impulse control while training with other dogs (resist the impulse to initiate play or bark)
- Reliable Polite on leash greetings. How to handle socializing with patrons who ask to engage with your dog.
This 3 week class has a maximum of 6 students. Pre-Requisite is Advanced Manners or equivalent. Dogs must be ok with unfamiliar dogs and strangers.
