Posture Analysis Workshop

Posture Analysis Workshop (4 hours)
Facilitated by Becky Heiner, MS, CPCFT, CPDT-KA

No dog has perfect structure and although we can’t change structure, we can condition muscles around less than ideal anatomy through exercise to build strength and reduce the risk of injury. In this workshop, you’ll learn the difference between structure and posture. You’ll learn how to analyze your dog’s posture and what you can do to build strength and fix sloppy sits and downs. Front end angles, toplines, and hind limb structure will be discussed. You’ll also learn exercises for your dog to improve their posture.

Working and auditing spots are available. Workers will send photos ahead of time, so I can customize an exercise program for your dog. Workers also must bring their dog to the workshop so they can practice the recommended exercises. Auditors will not bring dogs to the workshop, but are encouraged to participate in discussions and ask questions.
